Help With Reinstalling Mac OSX Lion?

I'm trying to reinstall my macbook pro it has the latest version of Lion on it. I rebooted it and held control R and clicked reinstall, then it did all the loading but afterwards it just takes me back to the way my mac originally was/is. Any help?

edit: Also I do not have snow leopard or an install disk

I am running OSX 1.7 Lion and I have a macbook pro
