I have a question for everyone on Macrumors that could help me with my resume.

I'm moving to northern California on February 3 and expect to be in California by February 6. There is a position open at a place that i'd really like to apply for. I have my resume covered and a cover letter.

My question is this though, do I add in the cover letter that I will be arriving in California on the 6th? That way they know I'm actually coming in case they want to set up an interview?

Or do I wait for them to contact me and let me explain when I'm arriving?

If anyone needs anything clarified, just post. Thanks for any help because I'm clueless about if I should put the date or just wait to say something if they call for an interview.

i would say let them know, that way they can plan a schedule too. i dont see why giving them more information could hurt
