I have a question. I just installed the seti@home osx gui. I noticed after i restarted my computer that It seems to be loading during log in. When I turn on my computer and the bar is filling up before the desktop loads the screen says "Loading SETI@Home." Why does this load before the desktop loads?? Is there anyway to stop this? Or should I even care? I don't like the idea of programs loading on start up without my approval. Thanks!

I don't know what it's doing on your machine, but you can use the command line version of S@H instead. The CLI version doesn't load anything, so you wont have to worry about it.

This is so it can use spare CPU time when no user is logged in. - Useful for machines at work when policy is to log out before going home, but of no consequence if you turn off your machine when you log out or keep it logged in all the time.
