Hi,

In my favorites bar (below the URL in safari) I would like it so that when I click one of them, it opens in a new tab default (rather then the current page). How do I accomplish this, is there a workaround? I dont want to have to press cmd every time.

Thanks

I suppose one option is to always have your tab-bar showing, and have new tabs start with your favorites. Click the + to open a new tab, then chose your favorite. It's one more click, but it would do it. It's basically what I do.

I have a 2 button mouse and just right click (same as holding the "control" key) on the Favorites link and select "Open in New Tab". Not as convenient, but another way of opening a Favorites link without having to press a key on the keyboard.

Thanks.

Is there an extension or software to workaround this issue so it just requires one click?
