Hello guys,

I'm thinking of selling my Mac Pro on ebay in the anticipation of the new ones being released soon hopefully but I would like to get some help with the price as I don't want to sell it undervalued. On ebay I can only see resellers or scam stuff so that is not a really good indication so I thought I would ask here for your opinion so it helps me to come up with a fair price. Could you please help me with that?
My setup

Mac Pro 12 core 2.66GHz
16GB ram (6 slots taken 2 free)
1TB HDD
ATI Radeon HD 5870
Apple Care for next 1,5 years

Now the RRP from Apple is £5000 which is insane but do you think I could sell it for £3000-3500 or is it not realistic?

What do you think would be reasonable selling price for this setup, please?

Thank you for any help in advance

As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay, or Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what you may be able to charge. Then adjust your price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc.

So I guess that something like £2800 should be reasonable, right? Or would you ask for more?
