I bought an external hard drive the other day and really wanted to make it wireless. I can't plug it into the router itself as it has no USB ports, but I do have a saucer airport extreme. I have no idea what I am doing, but I tried connecting the airport extreme via ethernet into the verizon router, and then the hard drive into the airport extreme. The laptop can recognize the Apple base station, but I am unable to connect the drive to the computer wirelessly. Is this a limitation in the hardware, or am I doing soemthing wrong. Thanks.
