I've got a question for all of you well read individuals out there. For my international business class, we need to come up with a book to do a book report on(soo 5th grade, I know). My prof gave us a list of books, but since there are 80 in the class, and this list is only 30ish, he told us to be prepared to use a book not on the list (no two people are going to have the same book).

Anyway, I was wondering if you could give me a few international business-based book suggestions: remembering its a 300 level college course.

Here are some he suggested:
1984 - George Orwell
The Smartest Guys in the room - Bethany McLean and Peter Elkind
The Next 100 Years - George Friedman
Bad Money - Kevin Philips
Wealth of Nations - Adam Smith
Six Degrees - Duncan Watts
Aviation Insecurity - Andrew Thomas (My Prof)
The Art of War - Sun Tzu

There are more, but I think you get the jist of it.

Thanks A TON!

TJ

Smartest Guys in the Room is a great book. And....if you're like me, you're looking for an easy option. With this...you get a movie to supplement your retention of the book.

And you are very right- easy to read is nice too :).

We are doing a lottery tomorrow morning, so depending on what number i get depends on my choice of book.... (crosses fingers for a low number...)
