I'm relatively new to all this jailbreaking and third party applications, but haven't had any problems so far getting applications on my phone.

However, I decided I wanted to change the look of my phone so I downloaded SummerBoard, which went fine. However, my 2 main problems are when SummerBoard installed it did not have any preset themes which I read it did, and when I try to download new themes, they do not show up in the 'Theme' section under the SMBPrefs icon?

I've read about various people having this problem, but none of the fixes have worked for me thus far.

Also, I'm running 1.1.4, if that helps at all.

    Suggestions?

Had the same problem....let see if i can help

    (1) Add repo.ispazio.net to your sources.

    (2) Install "1.1.4 SummerBoard Patch".

    (3) Install SummerBoard.

    (4) Uninstall the patch.

    It works!

Can't even find the '1.1.4 SummerBoard Patch'

EDIT: Looked around, some other people had the same problem not being able to find the patch, as if just dissappeared off Installer about a day or two ago, so now I don't know what I'm gonna do.

I posted the following in another thread a few days ago when someone else was having trouble seeing themes after installing them. Perhaps it'll help you as well. It made things work for me since Summerboard apparently just didn't know where to look.

"I discovered the solution to this issue earlier today. You need to use the Smb Themes Fix (from the 1.1.3 tweaks section, I believe) so it sets up a link from /var/root to /var/mobile. Once I did that, it immediately saw all the themes I'd downloaded."
