After 3 weeks of waiting talk talk decided to finally decided to activate my line. However now i cant connect wireless with my month old Macbook. My girlfriends Windows XP works fine with it, and the mac works fine wired. Anyone have any experience of this? or know what i could possibly do to fix it?

Router is Echolife.

Thanks

My inlaws have Talk-Talk wireless. I set up their Vista laptop and my PowerBook to run wirelessly in about 30 minutes.
All I had to do on the PowerBook was select the network and put in the password.

Mines a Intel based i think, should that make a differemce?

It detects the network fine but when i try to join it just says that connection failed!

It shouldn't make any difference. Have you tried plugging the MacBook into the router via ethernet and restarting the MB?

Just tried that now, still no joy. Talk talk online are no help either and i cant afford to ring them and be on hold for hours!

The error message when trying to join the network is just error unable to connect to 'name'.
