Help with Time Machine

Hi all

Just downloaded the new software update (10.5.7) & now my time machine backup doesn't appear to work. I get the following image.

I have been to the preferences but can't see the external harddrive there??

Anyone have any ideas??

log on as an admin.
select the drive, press command+i
at the bottom make sure the correct user account is "Read & Write"

(you may need to 'unlock' it - little lock in the bottom right)

I restarted the Mac & it now works fine....... must be a gremlin??

Man.. I'm not touching this update for aa while 😱 I'm seeing SO many varied issues it's crazy. I'm expecting subsequent updates to come flooding through in the next few weeks!
