Well, after reading this thread for months I decided against the ATV and went with the WDTV Live (at least till they bring out an improved ATV). It works great with the attached drive but I want to use the USB Wireless Adaptor option to connect it to my iMac and Airport Extreme network to stream movies and get on the internet. All the wireless adaptors at Best Buy say they are for "windows" and don't work with mac.

QUESTION: Do these adaptors have to be set up on a computer first or should they just light up and work when plugged in to the WDTV Live? I tried a Cisco/Linksys AE1000 and got nothing. If they have to be set up how do I do that when I only have an iMac?
