Hello. I am considering buying a Macintosh computer for college next year. I will be studying business marketing. The one thing that is holding me back is that i am unlearned in the subject of "windows on a mac." The school I will be attending is based around windows OS. This means classroom setups and things will be done in the windows OS. Every student virtually has the same laptop and are all running windows 7. I on the other hand will probably go nuts if I have to run windows for four more years. Can someone please describe to me the idea of windows on mac. Will i be able to switch OS's and be able to keep up in the classroom on my mac? Will I be able to run the same programs that the other students are running on my mac that they run on there PC? Will there be any compatibility issues? If you could help me with questions such as these and provide solutions to my problem you will be doing me a huge favor! Thank You!

It's pretty straightforward, the whole install and all.

What's strange is that a school, in 2011, still ONLY supports Windows. Most college / university IT departments are set up to at least support both.
