iPod touch Help!

😕So I jailbroke my iPod and I wanted to restore it so i could do the 4.0 update and then jailbrake it again and I went to settings and restored it. It got stuck on the (apple) screen. i googled it and found some people with a similiar problem. The only difference is that there is the spinny loading circle (it doesnt spin thought) in the middle of the screen alond with the . i did what the other people did (connect, then hold down power and home till it restarts). But it has been stuck like that for awhile now. I'm very worried. Please help! 😕😱

What generation iPod?
What iOS version was it running b4?
What did u use to jailbreak it?

Also try this.
Connect ur iPod to the computer and launch iTunes.
Turn off ur iPod.
Hold both power and home buttons exactly for 10 seconds.
Let go of power button while holding the home button.
After few seconds ur computer will detect an apple device connected in DFU mode. If this step doesn't happen then u didn't do the above properly. So try again. It might have to install driver. Let that finish.
Then try to do the restore through iTunes.
