I decided to jailbreak my iPhone 4, iOs 5.0.1, via redsn0w, and it went well. But I ultimately did not like it, so i went to un jailbreak it. I had read that all you needed to do was go to the settings on the phone, and erase all content and settings then connect it to iTunes, so that's what i did.. and now my phone is stuck on the circulating icon on a black screen, and that's it.
Did i brick my phone by not restoring it with iTunes instead? ://///

Go into DFU mode and restore. Google DFU mode if you don't know how to do it. Your phone isn't bricked, don't worry.
