I was told by apple support that I need to have my logic board replaced on my late 2009 15 in. MacBook Pro. Dose anyone know how much it will cost and if I should just get a new one instead

A good chunk of money if you get the full price.

Ask them for the DEPOT repair, and it should be around $300. That is a flat repair fee for fixing everything. Good luck!

Take it in to an Apple Store and get a quote. They can give an initial estimate right away. At that point it's your call if you want to repair it or buy a new one.
