Mac Pro 1.1 Yosemite update fail. For some reason once I restarted the computer, it chimes then, it goes to the black w/apple logo then to grey w/logo, chimes again and repeats and stalls on the grey screen with logo, any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I'm not mistaken, Mac Pro 1,1 does not support yosemite.

I used the OEMden one. and had targeted a usb stick. not sure why the main start up was affected. I'm guessing that something wrong happened, but I have no clue.

also, i may have downloaded the boot.fi files but don't remember trying to run anything...looks like I got myself into an issue I can't fix. I'll assume I'll have to find a way to get 10.7.5 on another sata and use it for a new start up, which won't be an easy task.
