Hi all

I hope youc an help me. I recently upgraded my pc (it's for games ok! :) graphics card which left me with a redundant 9800xt. I want to put this in my G5 (dual 2gb) but I can't seem to get it working. Is it possible? I have heard of people doing it but am stuck.

I got power to it (using a splitter off the optical drive as requested by ati) but when I boot up I get a grey screen. Nothing on screen at all. It's finee with the Geforce FX.

Anybody help? It would be a shame to have a great gfx card going to waste while the Dual 2gb G5 sits with a really poo geforce 5200 fx.

Thanks in advance

Cabs

You would need to flash it with a Mac BIOS, if this exists and can be done to a PC 9800XT is another thing...while you're waiting for another response from someone who might know more, Google may also be your friend :)

thanks for the response unfortunately google has abandoned me and we have had a spat! No response from google or many forums I have tried. Also I can't flash the card as i can't get the mac to even post with it.. just a grey screen.

thanks for the comments though.
