Perhaps this book has been cited in other posts, but a cursory search did not find any such mention.

I bought a copy of "Mac OSX Tiger KILLER TIPS" by Scott Kelby ($29.95 at Barnes & Noble) yesterday, and it has been exceptionally helpful to this new (25 days and counting) Mac convert from the PC wars. Many of the questions I have asked on this forum are answered in this book . . . plus a lot of helpful tips about questions that have not occurred to me yet.

If you are new to the Mac, a PC convert like me, possibly; this book is helpful.

Another good one is The Missing Manual-Tiger Edition.
