I have a 2018 iPad Pro 11" A12X with a cracked screen and will be replacing it once it stops receiving iPadOS security updates...

Almost the same specs between M2 & M3 - might buy M2 then, and trade in my old iPad mini 5 for it.
To spare my MBA M3 the jealousy as well 😉

While I am interested going to an Air M3 from my Air M1 iPad, the problem is, that I only use it for (light) browsing, learning and watching some content. In that case the base M1 is more than enough. If I am “upgrading” I might downgrade to the newest base iPad as a small travel companion or upgrade to a real M4 Air McBook…

The best thing about the new base iPad is it now coming with some Apple Intelligence by default.

I’m tossing up between a 12.9 m2 pro or a new 13” air, can’t decide if the newer chip and support for new pencil is worth it. Same cost (2022 pro 2nd hand)
