I just installed the iOS 26 RC on my iPhone 13 Pro and I notice a lag. Just after the install the phone was lagging to populate icons on the Home Screen and surprisingly the Settings menu. As some time passed the performance improved , maybe the OS has to render a bunch of stuff for the first time. Not snappy. I’m sure a lot of people will have something to say once this gets released to the public.
Restart your phone. That should resolve it. Do for me

Eagerly waiting to try it out on my devices. Will wait for two to three weeks before updating just to be sure that there are no major issues. Don't think I will update my iPhone as I am planning on getting a 17 Pro Max.

So ass ID is a secret new feature? Assome! Means I won’t have to take my phone out of my back pocket to unlock it. Now that’s what i call innovation. Will it prevent butt dials also? 🤣

So we’re just gonna release this thing without fixing any of the battery drain issues? I’ve been running since the first developer beta and my 16 pro battery has never recovered. Can’t recommend to immediately update to anyone.

The betas always have worse battery than the GM because of all the logging processes running in the background.

Even this release candidate public beta version has been bad for my normal usage. People are going to be pissed after updating on Monday.

Apple: "Lease stop artaking in oking fun at our eccadillo, assword holes!"

And they still did not solved the weird and unnecessary shadow effects on safari and some other apps that decreases usable screen space for ugliness.
