Heres an idea

Some nice ideas although how much use they'd be is questionable, I liked the Pile Widget althought a pile seems little more than a folder, just 'better' looking.
 
I think there's a point when eye candy becomes distracting. 😱

I'll stick to Spotlight for finding my files. 😛
