Then why all of you are waiting for today’s update when we have received GM on yesterday itself?
Man.... based on these responses couldnt you just imagine the panic and anger if in some CRAZY turn of events Apple didn’t release an iPhone this year..
Sometimes GM and „Final“ have different build numbers but they are maintained and treated the same and receive following updates equally which will give them the same build numbers again.

Investors don't care over a software update not being released at a time that Apple never published.

If anyone in this thread would have read the Macrumors article, it CLEARLY states:

This is just based on past download times. It's not set in stone, and they explicitly say so.
That works, as on Dubai site it says 16/09 and on Indian site it says 17/09 and the time difference falls into this time slot.
