Not a stupid question at all! With previous developer beta -> public build transitions, I found that if you download the GM and then remove the beta profile, you are not prompted for another update since the GM build is the same build as what is being released today.
So, I'm on beta 8. If I delete the beta profile, I'll be able to update to todays update, right?

Nothing in Canada... I'm thinking that like the iPhone release, Apple is deviating from the usual schedule this year... Maybe the release is in a few hours to give developers a bit more time to submit app updates?
