Here's Jony Ive's Ferrari Luce EV Interior and Interface Design

I’d be worried that this is a little too revolutionary. The whole muscle-memory aspect of driving a car gets lost, and as a corollary in order to be truly successful it needs to be universal in other cars as well. You can’t patent a design, and if it’s really better it will be copied — see Android — but it can take many years to percolate through.

It is less revolutionary than many "normal" modern cars. This is a car for drivers and, somehow, Jonny recognised that drivers of high performance cars need that muscle memory to safely control the vehicles, it is a lot less extreme than many cars in the last 5 or 6 years.
 
This car costs hundreds of thousands of dollars, and not only has a key, but one you need to take out of your pocket to start the vehicle? WTH?! My car cost a fraction of what this one does and doesn’t even need a key!

Ferrari has an entire division called Classiche that maintains and repairs every car they've ever built. They are explicitly working to make this thing repairable long into the future, far more than any other carmaker is.

It's actually fascinating how they work, and I'm very curious what that looks like for an EV. I've asked to do a deeper story, but trust me, they're well aware of it.

Oh that’s awesome! Yeah I bet that would also be a nice look-see (and article/video). Hopefully they let you in behind the curtains!
