I think he means basic statistics, the larger the test group the smaller the margin of error, i just find it funny that there is not an actual poll!

Edit: And now that he has a poll, you can see he's biased it by his selections. "iPhone 4 sucks regardless." Give me a break, this thread sucks regardless.
margin of error in a POLL.... the fact the poll yield 100% doesn't make it true... but it makes it valid for the researcher, he want to find out how many people validate or not his opinion or idea...that's all.
The point is that a statistically valid sample of opinions is an entirely useless thing to know. All this poll will tell us is what the popular opinion is, which has no relation whatsoever to what Apple will actually do.
Because the "researcher" is too lazy to read the same threads he's posting in? And because every reason given on why there won't be a silent fix hasn't been debated/addressed/dismissed by the "researcher" except by logic fail.
This "poll" is just another thread which covers the same exact topic that's been discussed other places.

On a more serious note, I'm not going to bash your thread and poll and criticize you unlike some people in this thread with Aggie leading the way. I voted no on the poll. I do not think they will stand behind their design and battle it to the end only to give-in and redesign it.

in my opinion the poll is useless and pointless that is why i don't participate, but I respect the fact that he want to know and he may have a reason for it. I don't know. Maybe he is a Psychology student and is studying an specific effect repetitive info in forums. I have not idea.
People need to chill and if you don't agree with some post or poll just move on to one you care more about it.
I just think there will be a bumper included in the box with any Iphone 4 sold after the 30th September.

Except that your question seems to ask whether or not we THINK it will happen, not if we want it or not. Maybe if you spent more time getting an education and less time trolling you would understand that.
