Do You Think A Silent Antenna Fix is Imminent After September 30th?

The point is that a statistically valid sample of opinions is an entirely useless thing to know. All this poll will tell us is what the popular opinion is, which has no relation whatsoever to what Apple will actually do.

Agreed, this is a silly thread.

Another poll on this topic....INCONCEIVABLE!

Your poll results may be an ACCURATE reflection of the votes cast. I doubt it represents a CONSENSUS, however.

I do not think your thread title means what you think it means.

Consensus: majority opinion. Thats exactly what I'm after.

Wow. Just. Wow. Join date of July 18 (14 days ago and already 189 posts, and 17 threads started. Give this man a hand, people. No one is this dedicated to blind, illogical belief than this man who has clearly expended a significant amount of energy in an attempt to get JUST ONE more believer, and, based on the numbers of his own polls, failed miserably. And to you, brave knight of the troll kingdom, I salute thee. May thy days be filled with redundant annoyances.
And now, I give... a warning.
On the first day of the tenth month of the year Two Thousand and Ten, Anno Domini, you sir, will be exiled from the kingdom of Macrumors.com in shame, never to be seen again. And there will be much rejoicing.

Let's not be too hard on the guy. He could be the next Woodward/Bernstein!

While everyone else has logically reasoned that the 30th of September is simply an opportunity for Apple to count their losses and not leave the floodgates open indefinitely, whocaresit is too smart for that.

He's aware of the conspiracy...
He's aware of what Jobs was really trying to say...

Naysayers, have you seen the Wikipedia article for the 30 September Movement, found here?

Didn't think so. You didn't do your research.

Now, consider the map of Merdeka Square found on that page, here. The square clearly represents the form factor of iPhone 4. You may notice that the "Radio Station," which clearly represents the antenna death zone, has been deliberately moved to the Northwest corner.

In its place, we find the Ministry of Defense, representing Apple's defensive responsive to the antennagate fiasco.

It's all there, people. Sorry you people are too lazy to do the detective work that whocaresit has graciously contributed to the Macrumors community.

You should be ashamed of yourselves, and whocaresit deserves a medal.

HAHA. I needed that. :D

Haha. Kudos for this. My guess is absolutely nothing will happen after Sept 30th, aside from Apple maybe extending the free case program. It'll be interesting though to see if they end it altogether.

Agree.
I thought this thread was closed? The last one got shut down by the moderators but it looks like he found a way to exhume the thread.

These two posts give me much hope for the future of MacRumors.:) Both POTD's in their own right.

I feel proud saying this poll has been successful. ~600 votes. And 1/6th of em are looking forward to a revision (or would at least be happy hoping for one :D)

Thanks to everyone who participated!

Success?

Read the posts. What percentage of them actually commented on the likelihood of a revision? Let's see... 44 posts including the initial 'poll'... 7 by you including said 'poll' ... and a total of 2 actually giving an opinion on the subject at hand...
FAIL

I think he means basic statistics, the larger the test group the smaller the margin of error...

You sure about that? If the test group is not comprised of truly random data points, will the resulting statistics even be meaningful, much less accurate?
