Home is not even finding my Bridge, so I'm back at the Hue app. This is since upgrading to the iPhone 7. Updated my 6S to iOS 10 and launched the Home app with everything there and working...

Never used HomeKit. Are there any good affordable add ons I can use around my home to enjoy the feature(s)?

I am looking for some guidance on dumping ADT.Right now we have all the windows sensor'd and one motion sensor for a room that has a lot of windows and wanted to save a bit of money. The system is on pulse so we can arm and unarm remotely. Also have CO2 and a heat sensor in the basement where the furnace is at.

But now I am thinking of dump ADTing and try to save and have the opportunity to add on

Can you guys give me some specs on your set ups. Do you have a monitoring company? That would be my only concern is who monitors?

Try installing Homebridge https://github.com/nfarina/homebridge on your mac and install CMD plugins.
It's all free and the plugins will allow you to send commands through the terminal using Siri.
E.g. Turn your PS4 on/off (with PS4waker)
Turn your Tv off if it's internet connected and so on.
Requires a bit of tinkering in the terminal but it's all free, safe and legal.

Hi there! I saw your info about your home solution. Do you have your Hikvision linked into Homekit? I'm lookg at the DS-7604NI recorder and 4 cameras - would love it to be Homekit integrated!
