No iPhone 17 mini, no purchase 😎
I’ll wait and see what iPhone Flip will be?
Otherwise I’ll wait until Cook left the building.

Just by curiosity, anyone here has ordered something already announced or plans to buy something rumored to be announced? If so, what is it? I don’t plan to buy something myself, but it’s fun to hear from others and share their joy of spending with them 🙂
If I were upgrading this year I’d be getting the regular M5 14” MBP, 24GB, 2TB. Maybe the cool new redesign rumored for later this year will compel me to upgrade

Waiting for the store to come back online to press the trigger on a MacBook Air M5 15” base 16/512 😊

sure looks like we'll have to keep waiting for the new AppleTV for a while longer.

The only reason I can think of is that Apple's AI Siri and/or HomeOS efforts are the thing holding it back.

I think it may be due to Dolby Vision 2. Surely the new Apple TV needs to have this, but pretty sure no TV makers have implemented it yet.

I’m in for double Studio XDR! More than anything, I’m chasing the inky blacks. The current Studio Display’s backlight bleed is so noticeable once you are used to OLED in so many other devices. Mini-LED is a great middle ground.
My irony detector seems to be broken!

Max spec MBP Max (although perhaps only 2tb ssd). Replacing a MacBook Air M2 which isn't powerful enough for local AI tasks. I also use a iPad Pro for when I need to travel light, so the lightweight-ness of the laptop is less important than the raw power and it looks like the new chips have significant boosts in AI processing which will be ideal for three of my projects the coming year.

interesting, had not heard about this.

But is this something that Apple can only add after TV makers have implemented it rather than switching it on through a later software update?

Also, is it really a must have feature in 2026 or 2027 while we wait for devices and content to be updated for DB2?

I just ordered a Space Black 14" M5 Max 64/2TB system. Will probably stick with my existing Studio 5K display for while have to be a little financially responsible. Getting close to $2,200 for my 14" M4 Max 36/1TB.
