Hey guys...HDR question ...TIA

SO I’m enjoying my new tv ...Sony 75 900e ...I’m aware the tv does not do Dolby Vision...which is fine....but does do hdr10...as it’s the standard....everything I own is going into my new receiver..also Sony..which handles hdr...anyways all the devices properly show hdr when it’s playing and no hdr when it’s not such as cable tv...however...the Apple TV ... is showing hdr is coming in..NO MATTER WHAT IS PLAYING... was watching sopranos from iTunes tv ...hdr....then played a game ...hdr....everything is using to hdr....I don’t want it to do this fake hdr unconvert....just want movies that are hdr to show hdr in my tv display setting screen....

Any help....does the Apple TV just output everything to “hdr” by default ...

tvOS 10.2 will bring autoswitching feature for HDR and framerate.
