I say email him. Some people think that macs depreciate like regular computers.

However I will say it sounds like a scam. Probably get an email back saying, I live in UK, lets use my safe escrow company.

However if you are local and so are they, why not meet up in a safe place?

However I feel its 99.99999% scam.

I live in a security controlled building so I always make the seller bring it to me to inspect. Works like a charm, never been scammed on CL

Don't bother. same ad was posted in miami, seattle, valdosta, and quad cities - probably some others as well.

The only thing you'll get from emailing him is spam.

Well I keep a couple of email accounts. One for professional and business. One for signing up for accounts where I know they may give me junk mail or sell my address.

Then I keep another email account for times like this.

But as I said before I agree, scam.

Seriously. If it's on Craigslist, don't even think about it.

Always remember, "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is"

I think your instinct is right on this one. Avoid.

not true. I've done a few transactions on craiglist and all has been well.
