Yes, the MBP is a laptop, and it has a battery.

Maybe Apple should put in a bigger battery.

I have killed the battery in my iPad Pro in less than a day on numerous occasions. I wonder what Apples answer to that would be? My iPad Pro battery would last all day, if my iPad Pro was a Moleskine notebook? :)

iPad Pro is a 'computer' as much as Nokia 3310 is a smartphone :)

Once maybe but they don't anymore. Their battery life used to be the best, but other OEMs have caught up and now offer longer battery life.

Both Pros and iPads are advertised as "up to 10 hours".

Really? there is nothing i can find in the MacBook Pro class with comparable chips with better battery life. Sure you can get things with core m or 15w ulv chips with battery life comparable but nothing any better.

I read somewhere that they tried but couldn't over-come some issues and opted for a smaller battery.
