Hey Siri on 6s and battery life?

Turning on Hey Siri, would mean that the phone is constantly listening. Would that drain the 6s' battery life?

New phones have special hardware that take care of that so that there would be pretty much negligible effect on battery life.

Too early to say I would think.

Once people have had time to calibrate their batteries and the phones have settled I'm sure we'll then see posts connected to this feature and usage stats.

I'll certainly be interested to see some test results. Hey Siri is great, but frivolous for some of us.
