Mine doesn't seem to activate every time. It seems I need to be very loud. I've set up up again just in case it was set up poorly thriftiest time. Definitely a welcomed feature though. Probably my favorite moto x feature.

We thought this "Hey Siri" demo video was pretty cool.

Hey Siri voice recognition test with multiple iPhones (6s and 6s Plus)

Yeah, Siri isn't very faithful to me. In fact, she seems a little too eager to receive another man's attention... my 6s+ was sitting on my desk while I watched this video and answered to both "Hey Siri" calls in the video.

Maybe it's payback for Alexa turning off the lights at night and then waking me up each the morning.

Hey Siri is an awesome feature. When I'm at home, I just have the phone lying around, and I "Hey Siri" it all the time. Hey Siri, what movies are playing? Hey Siri, what is the Red Sox score? Hey Siri, is it going to rain tomorrow? Etc etc. It is a fantastic feature, IMO.

Is there any option to activate "Hey Siri" even though the iPhone is locked? It works when my iPhone is unlocked, but then it's locked (and screen is off), it does not work.. Would be even more useful If I hadn't to turn it on and unlock every time.

Do you even have "hey Siri" turned on? It works with the phone locked, that's kinda the whole point of it. To be hands free.

You can even see in the video the phones are locked and Siri activated.

I set mine up and I thought it would only recognize my voice but I had two people try it and it activated with their voices.

I find it rather funny while watching this video, when he activated hey Siri on the smaller iPhone, it activated my hey Siri on my 6s+ right when he said it while I was watching the video

Same here, except mine activated with the 6S plus guy's

Mine is actually turned on, I trained it. Works when the phone is unlocked but not locked.. so not sure what's going on.

This doesn't work for me and my wife. I have 6S plus she has an 6S. I can unlock hers and she can unlock mine by saying hey Siri? Is this a bug or did I do something wrong?

It doesn't work if the screen is locked. Kinda defeats the purpose. :-( they should change that with a software update.

Having the same thing happen. I can activate a friends phone and he can activate mine. Have not tried it with anybody else, yet.

People need to realize that the pause after "Hey Siri" is not needed. Just say it all in one sentence.
I actually discovered this. Siri doesn't respond to me very well like it did in the video here. As log as I say an entire sentence, it works much better. Still not flawless, but I'll live.

I may be wrong, but siri has to learn your voice patterns before it will only activate with your voice.
There is a setup process. Again, once you've run the setup, you're all set (link fingerprint scanner). It has you say "Hey Siri" three times and then a phrase once or twice.
