HF100 movie file Preservation?

Can anyone tell me what file to copy off the Flash Data Card from my Canon HF100 onto a backup hard drive without converting it first on my iMac? I can import into iMovie fine and move to itunes though it produces 4 files in iTunes and view on Apple TV fine. I just want to make a backup in the native format without conversion. thanks

If you do a forum search for HF100 and disk image, you'll dredge up a thread from about four or five months ago that covers this.
