Not sure which model Apple Watch you have, but one of the more notable features about the Series 3 is the speed increase. So depending which Apple Watch you're upgrading from, you will certainly notice it, especially from the first generation Apple Watch.

I had a Series 2 and it was a very noticeable increase in speed and responsiveness across the board when I upgraded to the 3.

I'm pleased with my S3 for the LTE. But I really don't see that big of a speed difference compared with S2 so as to make it worth upgrading for that alone.

Since you say AW2 is slow, then definitely go for AW3. But while AW3 is faster, it doesn't "snap to it", sometimes there's 1-2 seconds wait. It'll spin around an app icon two rotations which I think is about 2 seconds, when you're trying to open an app. On AW2, I'd say it would be 3-4 rotations.

Apple watch series 2

But it seems slow

Its stainless steel

I don't necessarily think the Series 2 is all that slow compared to the first generation Apple Watch, but as others have said and plenty of other threads discussing this, Series 3 is significantly faster.
