They do a credit check but from what I have heard, few are turned away. You are giving this consumer credit company access to your bank account.

I liked it - over the Verizon alternative - because I do like to upgrade my phones more often than the old "two year programs" from the carriers and the fact that it comes with Apple Care+ included. (And for me, not the most careful person in the world, always felt that Apple Care was pretty much a necessity.)
