I recently discovered SmartSleep, the app that lets you change your sleep preferences. Now I'm looking for something that will let me put my MBP in hibernate mode just as easily as I can set it to sleep. I still want to be able to make it sleep at times, but having both options easily accessible is what I really need. Any suggestions?

Widget

There is a widget, known as "deep sleep" but i was not crazy about hibernation and starting back up, but it does allow you to choose when/how to put it to sleep by clicking on the widget may be what your looking for. look at the preferences on the back of it after you download it.
