Hello Everyone,
After 2 days to search a solution to my problem, I need help please.

I installed a 2024 Samsung EVO 500Gb SSD in a Mac Pro 4.1->5.1 and installed Mojave on it.
When I start, the boot work correctly until the end of the process, everything is fine...
Every time I make a restart, the boot fail and stop on HID: Legacy shim 2 (two lines like that)
After one minut, the screen show the round crossed sign and a message : Still waiting for root device.
If I boot on another SSD (Western Digital 120Gb) with the same installed Mojave, the problem doesn't exist anymore
It's the same without Opencore installed and without Opencore installed.
Any ideas ?
Thank you so much

Thank you for this information, I go to look at now

Maybe a 870 evo what suffer from not warm booting?

Sometimes it works, using them on the 2nd DVD plug.
