So what are some not as well known cydia aps that you guys have found that are really cool/useful. Everyone knows about MyWi, Winterboard, SBsettings etc. The only one I have that may not be extremely well known, but pretty sure it somewhat well known is snaptap (lets you take pics with your volume buttons. Just looking to see if theres any lesser known cydia apps that you found and think are neat!

Action Menu! Invaluable to me. Saving favorites to paste anywhere is great, especially if you have to repeatedly enter things such as email addresses or site logins.

I purchased an App caleld Puff!, which allows you to blow up the skirts of cute Asian girls. But for some reason it was removed from the App Store. So I used Cydia to install an App that allowed me to reinstall Puff!

Don't understand why Apple removed this app but allow the Playboy app.

PrivaCy is one that's not talked about very often. Saurik made it to block apps from sending anonymous usage data to the four major tracking providers as well as developers.

Some new apps will ask if you want to opt-out but I say better to have this just in case.

Here's another interesting article. It's almost a year old but I think what it talks about is worth reading. Anyone have more current information about these types of security issues?

Browser Changer - Change the default browser. Useful for links within apps to "Open in Safari." This will change those to make them open in a different browser, i.e. Atomic Web.

Calculator Widget (SBSettings) - Quick calculation.

MultiIconMover - Move multiple apps from 1 page to another, instead of 1 by 1.

PkgBackup - One of the most useful packages on Cydia hands down.

Shrink - Great app to make 5 column springboard and 5 icon dock look better. Can also shrink badge sizes.

Xpandr - System-wide text shortcuts. i.e. "ily" will always change to "i love you" in any app.

I noticed that its visable on ModMyI but not in Cydia, so if you want the .deb file let me know. It used to be on the App Store until Apple had it pulled when they tried submitting an upgrade, so they posted their 3.0 version free of charge on Cydia (but looking at their twitter, they abandoned it around late July).

Music Controls. It's nice being able to control my music with the controls in my car when paired via bluetooth.

What exactly does music controls do? Can't you achieve the same thing natively in iOS 4?

Well, it does lots of things, but the most useful one for me (and apparently earthmonster) is implementation of the AVRCP BlueTooth profile's skip/repeat buttons.

Wasn't there an app in Cydia that made all sites visited in Mobile Safari load the full versions rather their mobile counterparts?

    Tapp

Tapp is great, Tapp lets you launch multiple applications using a single icon.
The application that is launched depends on the number of times that the Tapp icon is tapped.

I got my first page clear, and 5 icon dock, however tap is one of those icons, so i can launch Cydia (1tap), iFile (2taps) and settings (3tapps)

How does it work, does it hang after 1 press to see if you press again?

+1 for MultiIconMover, a huge life saver when trying to move multiple icons across many pages.
