I'm trying to clear up space on my hard drive using Drive Genius' Drive Slim and deleting duplicate files. I found a hidden(?) folder called "volumes" going to my Mac HD and it appears to be a duplicate of my Mac HD? It's hard to explain so I've attached a screen capture of it.
I would like to know if it's okay to delete this hidden "volumes" folder or if it's somehow a critical file for OSX to work. Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
