hide 'frequently visited' from favorite page on a mac?

so, does any of you know how to hide 'frequently visited' section from favorite page?

please do not tell me to 'uncheck show favorite in search setting', because that disables favorites as well. plus, that will NOT hide frequently visited from top site.

i have it hidden on my other mac, so it's 100% doable, i just forgot how to do it....

From the favourites page, drag the offending icon away, I believer this also blocks reoccurrence. As for hiding all don't know.
