hide icons from dock?

I'm a religious quicksilver user, and imagine my disapointment that in leopard I cannot seem to hide quicksilvers icon from the dock. I tried modifying the info.plist file and adding an NSUIelement 1, but that just made it so that the program wouldn't LAUNCH.

i'm assuming that something was changed in leopard so this doesn't work. If it was, how do I do it now? and if it wasn't, what's up?

Thanks for sharing. But it is not working on Mountain Lion.
