In macOS 12.1 and iOS 15.2 one are supposedly able to send a new email with a randomly generated "hide my email" address from the compose view, but this results in an error saying "hide my email is not available at the moment, try again later." or just simply "an error has occured". It's been days now since this was released publicly, and still not working. What is going on?
It works fine on icloud.com, but no in the apps on macOS and iOS. Anyone else experiencing this?
