Hide SMS alert on lockscreen

Is it possible to hide the SMS alert thing tottally? it would really match my theme i was hide it so it says like the senders name and just text message as apposed to the message preview.

Does anyone know how to hide it totally?

You can't. At least not from the settings on the phone. I've never heard of any apps, jailbroken or App Store, that have that ability.

I stand corrected.

Not really a viable solution for me because I can't stand using the passcode lock.

popup blocker was created just for this reason. not free, but only 99 cents. well worth it.

i use iblacklist..

but popup blocker works well, unless they change it it will block ALL pop up, not just text messages..

can do it in irealsms too i believe.

popup blocker is fully customizable - lock screen, all screens, etc.

I love popup blocker. I dont use it to block sms perse, more to not have any alerts while I am using runkeeper so thatI dont need to press all the close buttons after im done running jsut to turn off the logging of the run. Great app
