Is it possible to hide the SMS alert thing tottally? it would really match my theme i was hide it so it says like the senders name and just text message as apposed to the message preview.

Does anyone know how to hide it totally?

You can't. At least not from the settings on the phone. I've never heard of any apps, jailbroken or App Store, that have that ability.

    Enable Passcode Lock.
    Turn off SMS Preview.

    Done.

    I stand corrected.

Not really a viable solution for me because I can't stand using the passcode lock.

Use Popup Blocker from Cydia. It's not free though.

Do any of these block the popup ONLY on the lockscreen? I found iblacklist works great, but I prefer to have the popup on if I'm using the phone.

popup blocker is fully customizable - lock screen, all screens, etc.
