As I explained here:
https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...ary-update-forces-users-to-pay-again.2023270/

I had to use my old .IPA file to restore an app updated using Apple-Store.

However the Apple-Store keeps saying there's an update for this app.

What I want to know is this: is there a way to hide this new update for good?

I know I just need to not click it, and update others instead, still I am interested in knowing if this warning can be hidden.

I don't think so that it can be hidden, you just have to pretend the update request is not there until you get frustrated and update it. this is what happens to me all the time
