Hiding default apps

Anyone think Apple will ever give use the ability to hide default apps? Every iOS release just keeps adding more and sticking them all in a folder seems like an inelegant solution.

For technical support purposes, it may be better if all native apps are always viewable.

I've created an Apple Apps folder for all the ones I don't use.
