Hiding icons

I wanted to rename some icons so I changed the name and it removed the icon from the springboard but changing it back returned it. If I did this for the original apps that I don't want would it cause any problems?

Yup. Comes built into SBSettings. Priceless.

If I didn't see threads like this I would forget the Stocks and Contacts apps ever existed.
