I have a home network running on a Linksys wrt54g with 4 macs all running Tiger 10.4.11. Essentially what I want to do is have them all able to connect to the internet via this network (which at the moment they all do) BUT not be aware when anyone else is on the network if that's clear? Obviously at the moment you only have to click the Network tab in Finder to reveal who else is on but I want to disable this if possible. Many thanks

I don't know it exactly but you could try:

firewall -> options -> stealth mode

greetings

EDIT: oh I didn't read you're running tiger...

hmmm stealth mode doesnt seem to work??

any other ideas??

and im NOT stealing my neighbour's internet haha!!

thanks
