Hi

So I've run into a problem with two apps conflicting with each other. One is detecting the presence of the other and force quits. Is there a way (or another app) to hide a running app? Something like Little Snitch that operates locally. Thanks guys

A crude way of doing so would be to just create a second user account without admin privileges and open the second app within it; unless they're using a system-wide flag, that will hide one from the other.

Alternately, you could find the lockfile they're using and move/delete it.

Have you considered that perhaps there is a reason the two apps won't work at the same time? Before going to a lot of trouble to figure this out, it's quite possible that running both at the same time will result in messing up data files.
